I am a classic traditional girl with a vintage soul. My passion is creating timeless dresses that will be cherished forever. When I started sewing two years ago my daughter asked me to make her 100 dresses and that was my goal.. Little did I know that my new hobby would grow to became much more.
I learned from online videos and Instructions. I discovered sewing groups that helped me learn and grow. My first year I made 56 dresses. Each one was different and unique. 2019 was a year that everything changed. I was lucky enough to be chosen to become a tester for several great pattern companies. Being a pdf pattern tester is a fun job but a really big responsibility. Designers choose you and have trust in you to sew the pattern, give insight, and make other recommendations that would make the pattern better than the designer first imagined. They trust you to make a creation and bring life to their idea that they spend hours and hours designing on paper.. I love testing patterns. It is not always as fun as it seems and requires a lot of work. But even when something doesn’t go smooth I enjoy doing it.
In 2019 I tested many amazing patterns and created amazing friendships.
Once Ivana May Timeless was open the love that we received from people was amazing.
But this is just the beginning. 2020 is here bringing new adventures….
